Arabian Seductress Costume

Well this is certainly not an Aladdin costume, last time I checked anyway. It doesn’t even seem Persian or Arabic given their strict rules on what women wear so this is very much a costume that tries to evoke a style from days gone by.

Perhaps a seductress in the style of Mata Hari or courtesan belly dancer extraordinaire. In fact the Arabian Seductress Costume would suit Mata Hari to a tee when she was in the process of seducing some French army officer to get plans for the Germans. Could you see yourself as Mata Hari this Halloween ?

Here’s a bit more on the Arabian Seductress Costume. So this costume might be found in a Harem. Maybe the wearer would by the Persian Prince or Kings top courtesan. She would be versed in all the arts to please her king. She might recite poetry and play a musical instrument. However her forte would be her exotic and alluring dancing.

For this dancing she would require a costume that allowed her to move and showed off her body. This costume would have a brown halter bikini style top with beads and floral accents. She would wear  brown boy style shorts with a front and back skirt flap. The shorts would allow her to move around and the long skirt flaps would add to the aesthetic affect as her limbs moved this way and that.

The top is complemented by sassy sheer sleeves that start at the top of the upper arms and end just before the wrists. They are see through crème color with brown cuffs. The flower accoutrements on the bra top and headpiece give the costume a Gypsy look or even a flamenco type dancer. It must be pointed out however that this costume does not come with the headpiece and it would have to be purchased separately if you wanted the exact look in the picture.

This costume is undoubtedly sexy. You could wear it to a  party or keep it secret and for the eyes of your most intimate companions. The choice is yours, are you as daring as  Mata Hari ?
